Attending An Interview

Closing the Interview

When the interview has clearly covered everything that needs to be discussed, it is important that the meeting be wrapped up well. The difficult part is over and you just need to close out in a similar winning manner.

Let the interviewer terminate the interview. Wait until they stand up or request that you do. Give your closing thanks - for the time the interviewer has spent with you - and offer a firm handshake. Ask when you might expect to hear from them about their decision, and leave.
